Now, More than Ever Before;
How can we understand in our modern age, the apparent need for war.
So many things I've learned. So much more, I honestly did forget.
No cause should be so strong with us all, to cause endless regret.
I have always know that I am a free man, in a Country that is Free.
All of humanity at its roots, are connected to the same Tree.
One country (Russia) that simply won't let another country (Ukraine) at peace be.
While the latest war is on TV, for us all to see.
We may emphasize on How far the Apple has fallen- or got Forcefully Pushed away from the tree.
Hardly the way, we always heard the human experience should be.
It's really unthinkable as you and I are comfortable safely within our homes.
Yet the innocent children, who's lives and sense of security, are gone.
While Ukraine's Leader Zelinsky goes begging for more help.
While we sit there, endlessly distracted by our phones.
How can we as a world tolerate this?... and ever forget, or forgive!

It's how we react to the un-stabilizing forces.
Our limited understanding, gleanings from our collective learning, not really from courses.
Was it all just like the fodder or hay? ... Only fit to feed to our horses?
The knowledge of the truth paced down from one or more generations.
From which we retain just enough to know our peoples history, should never be forgotten.
Our world is too small, to neglect one countries entire population.
A million plus fellow human beings, have already left in search of a new life, with nothing.
Now forced to give up the safety, their homes, their communities and friendships.
A population all giving up everything they know and understand.
Now refuges are struggling just to find food clothing shelter,
Amassing into neighboring countries, while those still in Ukraine, live in fear, running helter-skelter.
The response of other nations, sending weapons to Ukraine, to fight and defend their homeland.
NATO scrambling, to disrupt Russia economically with the financial laws of supply and demand.
Ukraine civilians fighting in the streets to defend their homeland
While NATO - Russia, Strikes back with: Supply and Demand!
Here in the United States most of us have our most basic needs met.
We often assume we are isolated from harm, with one very powerful safety net.
Even though, personally we move forward with varying degrees of regret.
We must always learn and of course never forget!
Atrocities committed against our ancestors, as they only sought to live with others in peace.
We wonder, will the horrors of war in our world, ever cease?
Where should we direct our thoughts, prayers and action?
While always the World is filled with Endless Distraction.
What could any of us do, other than express- our personal dis-satisfaction.
